“I am grateful for the outstanding performance of Jezeriah Cook, PA-C, on what should have been a routine visit for me. In preparation for my hip replacement, the ortho doctor needed a health recommendation from my PCP. Everything was routine until the results of the EKG were reviewed. He indicated he noticed an abnormality on one of the traces that needed further investigation. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about this since I have never had any issues with my heart, and I stay active all the time! A cardiologist was recommended and more testing followed. A heart catheterization was performed and showed a 99% blockage in a very critical area of my heart, commonly called the “widow-maker”. Two stents were put in to mitigate the blockage, and medication was prescribed along with lifestyle changes to reach the goal of increasing the efficiency of my heart. All of this is possible now due to Jezeriah Cook’s attention to detail — he has literally saved my life! Hampton Family Practice should be proud to have him as a valued member! I know I will recommend him and Hampton Family Practice to anyone that will listen to me!”
