Hampton Family Practice is pleased to welcome Heather Mayer, PA-C to our team of providers.
After attending Ferrum College for her undergraduate studies, Ms. Mayer entered the Stony Brook University program for Physician’s Assistant Studies. She then completed a pediatric urgent care fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.
Ms. Mayer’s skills include pediatric family medicine, dermatologic and minor surgical procedures, sports medicine and women’s health. Her desire to work in family medicine comes from her belief that taking care of all members of a family through every stage of life allows her to build relationships with her patients and their families that will last a lifetime.
Ms. Mayer enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog, cooking and baking, and paddle boarding and kayaking. She also spends time journeying with her church mission group on international medical missions.
