A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, I joined Hampton Family Practice in 1978. My scope of practice includes the wide range of family medicine. My clinical interests include treating diabetes and hypertension and explaining about the human body to my patients.

My wife, Susan, and I have two sons. I enjoy science, politics, and knowing how things work.
