You will be able to talk with the nurses from the After Hours Program.  Using standard guidelines a nurse will determine whether you can take care of yourself at home until an appointment can be scheduled; whether you need to go to an emergency room; or whether they need to contact your doctor immediately.  Your doctor will always receive a written report for your medical records from the nurse.

Any time you feel you need emergency medical attention, always call 911.

OFFICE CLOSURES

Our office is closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.   We are closed after 12 noon on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve if they fall on weekdays.

We will occasionally close when the weather is severe to protect you and our staff.   Please call our office at 838-6335 if you have any questions about our possible closure.  If there are phone line problems, try to call our answering service at 757-398-1727.
