Michael H. Joynes, M.D.

In 1977, I opened Hampton Family Practice and I am proud of our long history of offering compassionate medical care to the families of the Hampton community. I enjoy offering the full scope of family medicine for my patients, many of whom have been coming to this practice since its beginnings.  My clinical interests include preventive medicine, office dermatological surgeries, gyn, psychiatry and behavioral health, and geriatrics.

I am a native of the peninsula and my wife Barbara and I have three sons, Mike, Steven, and Kevin.  I enjoy reading, exercising and sports, and I plan to take fly fishing lessons.
