Meet Our Team

Hampton Family Practice is a privately owned, primary care practice of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants dedicated to the mission envisioned by its founder, Dr. Michael H. Joynes in 1977.

Grounded in the tradition of family medicine, Hampton Family Practice is committed to continuity of care, and the delivery of compassionate, patient centered services and education promoting good health and quality of life for patients and their family members of all ages.

Providers are grouped into patient care teams to streamline communications, ensure continuity of care and give you greater access to appointment times.

Why is continuity of care important? With each visit your patient care team gets to know you. Your personality, unique health history, wellness goals and preferences over time, leads your physician to the best possible diagnosis and treatment plan for you.

We specialize in you. And, as your personal medical home and healthcare advocate, your team is available to help you navigate challenging health decisions, manage chronic conditions, or oversee specialized medicine should the need arise.
